Instructions

Ingredients

  • 3 grams (1- 2 tablespoon) of loose tea or 2 tea bags
  • 250 ml Water
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Organic Cherry Juice
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 Lemon slice (for garnish)
  • 2 Fresh mint leaves (optional garnish)
  • Optional Sweeteners (per 250 ml) Pure Unpasteurized Honey: 1-2 teaspoons. Pure Organic Stevia: 0.5 ml Pure Organic Cane Sugar: 1-2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Brew & Steep Scarlet Sunrise: Begin by bringing the water to a boil. Remove the water from heat and allow it to cool for about 2-3 minutes, until it reaches a temperature of 85 – 90 degrees Celsius. If using loose leaf, place it in a cheesecloth or an infuser. Alternatively, you can directly add the leaves to the water and strain later. For pyramid bags, simply add them to the water. Let Scarlet Sunrise steep for as long as possible, even while it cools. Allow the leaves to leach completely, until the rose petals take on a delicate pinkish-white hue.
  1. Step 2: Remove Pyramid Bags or Loose Leaf: Once it has cooled to room temperature, remove the pyramid bags or strain the loose leaf. Ensure that the leaves are fully leached and the color has dissolved, indicated by the pinkish-white rose petals.
  2. Step 3: Chill, add the Cherry Juice and Serve: Refrigerate for at least an hour, or until thoroughly chilled. Gently stir in Organic Cherry Juice. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled Scarlet Sunrise Tea'd Greens over the ice. Enhance the visual appeal by adding lemon slices to each glass. For an extra touch of freshness, garnish with a few sprigs of fresh mint.
  3. Optional Sweetening: If desired, sweeten with your choice of sweetener. Note: If using honey, add honey during the steeping phase.
