Earl Grey London Fog Latte

Bergamot, roasted orange peel, vanilla and warm milk come together in this naturally caffeine-free take on a London Fog.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tea’d Greens™ Earl Grey pyramid sachet, or 1–2 tablespoons loose leaf
  • ½ cup milk, dairy or plant-based
  • ½ cup cream, dairy or plant-based
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Honey or sweetener to taste, optional

Method

1. Warm the milk and cream

Combine the milk and cream in a small saucepan. Warm gently over medium-low heat until hot but not boiling. If using sweetener, stir it in until dissolved, then remove from the heat.

2. Infuse the Earl Grey

Add the Earl Grey directly to the warm milk mixture. Steep for 3–5 minutes for a lighter flavour, or up to 10 minutes for a more pronounced bergamot and roasted-orange note. Remove the sachet or strain the loose leaves.

3. Finish the latte

Stir in the vanilla. Froth with a milk frother, whisk or blender until smooth and lightly foamy.

Cold version

Let the infused mixture cool completely in the refrigerator, then serve over ice or blend briefly with ice for a frothier texture.

Tea’d Greens Earl Grey is built on young barley, wheat and oat leaves rather than traditional tea leaves. Bergamot oil and roasted orange peel create the familiar citrus direction while keeping the blend naturally caffeine-free.
