Spiced Chai Latte

A full-bodied, naturally caffeine-free latte built around Tea’d Greens™ Spiced Chai and its blend of young greens, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, clove and other aromatic spices.

Ingredients

  • 3–4 Tea’d Greens™ Spiced Chai pyramid sachets, or ¼–½ cup loose leaf
  • 2 cups milk of choice, such as oat, dairy or almond
  • Sweetener to taste, such as honey, brown sugar, cane sugar or stevia

Method

1. Infuse the Spiced Chai

Heat 1½ cups of milk in a saucepan until hot but not boiling. Add the Spiced Chai and simmer gently for 1–2 minutes. Remove from the heat and steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on how bold you like it. Remove the sachets or strain the loose leaves.

2. Froth the remaining milk

Warm the remaining ½ cup of milk with your chosen sweetener. Froth with a milk frother, blender or whisk until smooth and lightly foamy.

3. Combine

Pour the frothed milk into the infused Spiced Chai and stir gently.

Serve it hot or iced

Serve warm with a light dusting of cinnamon if you like. For an iced version, let the infused chai cool, then pour over ice before adding the frothed or chilled milk.

The character of this drink comes from the spice blend itself. Tea’d Greens Spiced Chai contains no traditional tea leaves and is naturally caffeine-free.
